Met Mike first at the 360 6 hour race and then by accident at Race Retro 2-3 years later when we both admiring a 924. I also enjoyed watching him race the Gp2 Escort in the CSCC Special Saloons and Modsports revival races at Mallory. A pleasure to talk to and very helpful when I was trying to modify my, then, 924S fuel filler to receive fuel more efficiently.
A great stalwart of10-Tenths, too, and I always enjoy reading his posts.

Keep fighting Mike!!
Despite the great attraction of Peter Auto, Masters and so many prestigious events, you're overdue a visit to Knockhill, where you will be made most welcome.
Following Richards's post earlier in this thread, photo from Oulton Park attached, when he was pit crew and I was taking photos or sheltering from the monsoon.

My memories largely involve bicycles on our European forays ... particularly long downhill daylight run to dinner at Nurburgring .... then a slog back, much later, over-refreshed in the dark ...
We did a lap of Pau on the bikes too didn't we??
Recall driving away from Portimao at the end of Lurani 2013, following Big Blue and Delta Truck, me only heading to Faro in the hire car, but the 'truckers' starting the long run home.
Mike, you've always been super helpful and friendly, often my de facto crew chief when Iain busy with other punters! I wish you all the very best.

Get well soon Mike
I met Mike on these virtual pages and I have seen him racing at Monza, Le Castellet and Le Mans. The photos of his smile confirmed he is such a nice man and he was doing something he really like it…...Mike you will win this race !
All the very best from all the way to Italy !

Sorry, no pictures. I only met Mike once in person & that in the gathering gloom of an October evening. However, I will return to your workshop (if I can find it again!) for that coffee & a natter.
There's something for you to look forward to...!!!
