£52 it would cost for me and my lad........thats without the extortionate parking charges and the cost of getting there!
I don't want to do the "Live Arena" bit but there's no option in the ticketing to do do this!
I think I will give it a miss again!

Hi Mark

You could always travel by train direct to the NEC and avoid the hassle of driving and parking. Trains are quite frequent because they also serve the airport as well.

Alternatively if you come Thursday or Friday the ticketing is cheaper and don't forget the MSA discount available to all registered officials.

Thanks Eric but the lad is at School then!
I've never actually paid to get in to the ASI and at those prices (Even the MSA discount is not very good) I don't think I ever will!

Information on the Watkins Lecture can be found here.

Entry is by ticket which can be applied for from The Motorsports Safety Fund. There is an application form in their publication "The Marshal" which can be found here (PDF). However as it's only a few days away it would probably be best if you contacted them directly first to see what can be done.
