Marshals Campsite for LMES?
Yes I know another LMES thread, but this is a specific one. Mods please merge if you feel it is nessecary.
I've heard about the public buying passes for an infield campsite and the media have been allocated passes if they wish them, but has anyone heard where the marshals camping area is? |

No idea as of yet. Am wondering about this myself! Will be annoyed if we don't have our normal spot beside the runway!

Just wonder about the security aspect of this - sounds as though we won't be getting a separate spot. Or will we be on the 'lovely flat field' used for GPs?

I'm told that it is Copse runway and I'm also told that it should be marshals only.
It won't be the GP field as AFAIK that is not owned by the circuit and is hired in for the GP. I wouldn't expect security though, lock anything of value in your car. |

I haven't had tickets for this meeting yet. Has anyone else, or does anyone know when they're coming out?

As far as I know the marshals camping is on the grass and that next to the old runway...we were allowed to leave our vans there this weekend so thats my guess!

If there's a big turn out they will probably run it as they ran the MG80 event the other week - they have the Caterham thing going on on the National straight, with the "entertainment area" infield of that, so will probably put the camping down the bottom of that grassy area, towards Becketts, and on the opposite side of the straight. Not exactly local for the toilet block if youre having an evening on the beers, but you can always allocate a designated driver!
