Predictions: Brands Hatch
Final time of the season then - enter your predictions here.
Rookie Practice starts at 11am on Friday 2nd May, any posts made after then will be ignored. Red Bulldog may well be champion elect (baring major catastrophe - mathematically 9 people can still claim the spoils); but there's a a fantastically close battle behind that. Just a reminder of how things stand:
Kiwi3's doing the maths this round, so I'll make this my last 'official' post of the championship and say thanks to everyone for taking part over the 10 rounds. Bad luck to everyone! (Well, I want to try and get on the podium... ) |

Well I'm a creature of habit, and the same selections for each race so far have kept me in the running for a podium so why should I change them for the final round....

Wasn't James Robinson Kerr's engineer at the time of this race last year? If so, then...

Dear All,
Almost everyone was burnt by NZL's poor round. Lots of people scored two points for correctly picking GBR to come second in the feature. Anyways, the round win goes to...drum roll...Chunterer for an eight point haul! RedBullDog ironically scored the lowest this round however was far enough ahead too comfortably be the new Prediction Competition World Champion. The prize would be in the post except that we have neither a prize nor your address... If I had a Christmas card list Peno would now be taken off it, for stealing 2nd place off me despite being tied on points because of a dubious round win from Durban. It wasn't an outright round win as it was shared, and I was only one point off him in that round, as I was this round... And the big prize, that for consistency, goes to...Kiwi3...for being the highest scorer without having a round win. Yippee! Brands round: chunterer 8 dazbaz 7 Spider 7 Peno 6 Asp 6 ScotsBrutesFan 6 Kiwi3 5 NAC 5 CDK 7 5 blew by u 4 bizkit 4 RichardRenes 4 Red Bulldog 3 And the overall scores: Red Bulldog 60 Peno 51 Kiwi3 51 Asp 49 blew by u 47 bizkit 47 ScotsBrutesFan 46 NAC 45 chunterer 44 dazbaz 41 Mekola 27 woodster 23 Saleen 22 nkfan 16 RichardRenes 11 hotwheels 8 Spider 7 autotot 6 CDK 7 5 dave not neil 4 Knowlesy 3 Stocky 3 Last edited by Kiwi3; 5 May 2008 at 06:34. |

Red Bulldog
Well done to those that finished above me. And to those that didn't Credit as always to those who kept the competition running smoothly. See you all again for Mugello in October...who knows I might try the same predictions all season again to see whether I can do better than 7th Last edited by ScotsBrutesFan; 5 May 2008 at 14:15. |

Well, I pulled out of that 3-way tie, but still finished off the podium. And didn't win any rounds either - so I think it's only fair I hand over the (metaphorical) trophy to Red Bulldog.
To see how it all happened, see the attached graph. Congratulations are also due to chunterer - 3 round wins was the highest tally, they were just spread out alongside woeful scores! Many thanks to Hazard, Hazza, and Kiwi3 for doing the maths and saving me a bit of time; and of course thanks for everyone for taking part! More in a bit under 5 months? |

Those races would be tough to call I'd imagine, well done, esp. the Canuck.
