2018 Pirelli World Challenge Rounds 6 & 7: VIRginia International Raceway

Pirelli World Challenge heads to picturesque VIRginia International Raceway for the Grand Prix of Virginia Presented by Audi Sport from April 27th to 29th.

Scott Hargrove still leads the overall GT driver's standings, but his lead is now a slim 2 points over R. Ferri's Toni Vilander. Hargrove's co-driver is again famed Porsche ninja Wolf Henzler, and Vilander will again be joined by Ferrari ace Miguel Molina. (No relation to St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina)

K-PAX Racing tested at VIR earlier this year, and Alvaro Parente will be looking to build on his podium finish at Long Beach. He is again joined by Bentley factory driver Andy Soucek.

Defending race winners Daniel Morad and CRP Racing will be looking to turn their fortunes around after the big orange car suffered electrical issues at Long Beach. German Fabian Schiller will again co-drive the Mercedes.

Spencer Pumpelly again joins Alegra's full-time pilot, Porsche factory driver Michael Christensen in the #24 Porsche.

Alec Udell and Mathieu Jaminet return in their Loci-sponsored GMG Porsche 911 GT3-R, which showed plenty of pace at Long Beach and COTA.

Lone Star Racing is back with their Mercedes, Mike Skeen and Scott Heckert driving. They'll be looking to continue the momentum from their double-podium COTA debut.

The Pro-Am GT ranks again include K-PAX's #3 Baptista/Soulet Bentley, TruSpeed's #19 Chase/Dalziel Audi, TR3's #31 Lu/Segal Ferrari, Dream's #55 Harata/Bressan Lamborghini and Black Swan's #54 Pappas/Bleekemolen Porsche.

GTS is back in action at VIR with another Godzilla-sized GT4 grid. 37 cars are set to take the green in the GTS races.

Series regulars like Blackdog Speed Shop, Flying Lizard Motorsports, Team Panoz, and GMG Racing will stack up against Sprint-X only teams in the massive field.

In addition, the TCR, TC and TCA fields will be back on track.
