It would have been pretty amazing if he was able to continue in both (Lights and Atlantics).... most drivers are having trouble running one series. It would be nice to see Summerton back in a Indy Lights car.... but if I had to guess.... I would say his focus for the remainder of 2009 will be the Atlantic Championship.

Interesting race run in drying conditions, forcing the teams to make a pit stop for slicks even though none of the teams are really equipped to do so. It took some of the teams over a minute to do the four-tire change.
Regardless, Sebastian Saavedra had the car to beat, both on the wets and the slicks and dominated the race. |

Is that because they are not used to pit stops?

correct - The other teams say Andretti had an unfair advantage because the guys over the wall for them are the same as during the Indy Car team. Only 3 guys are allowed over for Indy lights, which makes a big difference too.

"Did you win this race for Lauren?"
"Who?" "Lau..." "Oh, Lauren George... not really. I'm not an IndyCar driver, and if I want to be I have to start winning races." I now love James Davison. Pretty good family those Davisons. Chris |
