great minds!

me and my buddies have decided to watch an old NBA season as if it was unfolding live in the present. watch the games at the same time and discuss them in 'real' time with each other...self quarantine in the 21 century right!

not sure how far back the F1 TV archive goes back but if others were interested in doing a retro season chat i would be interested.

Kayo is Foxtel's streaming service. Essentially its the sports pack that is available. Cost is $25 a month.

Thanks for identifying him. I didn't know who it was doing the commentary. I do miss Murray and James Hunt on the commentary.

In all seriousness I do like Simon Taylor and don't forget his commentary was added post race, as was Murray's for the the '81 Long Beach Grand Prix.

Simon Taylor commentated on BBC radio in those days, I wonder if that's where they got it from?

Muddly Talker does do the post race commentary on some of the races I've seen in the last few days.

Hope you self isolated bathurst77.

The young ones might be bit scared watching drivers having a smoke before qualifying, speaking their mind, exploding turbo’s, cigarette advertising and scantily glad grid girls!

Always good to look at old racing, how rudimentary the tracks were, the basic safety equipment etc!
