Bernie didn’t help himself at times with his fondness for the dollar

However when the 'inmates in the asylum" came up with horrifically stupid rules, that was not Bernie's doing. OTWG (overtaking working group) for example, and they are now the clowns fixing the aero problems on the cars. The FIA shills and their manufacturer buddies for the hybrid engines, during a time when they were making racing cheaper. |

Yeah, Bernie can’t be blamed for everything. Even he was against DRS after all, although his ideas of shortcuts, medals and sprinklers were no better!

My prediction
the 2020 Australian GP will go down in history as the most boring ever. |

So why did it take so long ??
Whoever pulled the pin would determine who has to pay for what. As the Teams effectively pulled the pin by declaring they would not race I would assume the Victorian government is within its rights to withhold a significant percentage of the sanction fee paid for F1 to turn up. |

I reckon the homeless people around Melbourne are being well fed, all that catering going to waste.

Listen, don't mention the Aussie GP!...I mentioned it once, but I think I got away with it alright. So! It's all forgotten now, and let's hear no more about it.

McLaren boss Andreas Seidl, meanwhile, has remained with the 15 affected members of his team in Melbourne. So whilst Seidle did the right thing other team bosses either wanted to race - because it suited them - or busily arranged a private jet to fly senior staff out so wouldn’t have to share a plane with the public...

Ferrari clearly didn't want to race as staff started leaving the circuit before FP1 was due to start.

As their "No. 1" driver, Vettel, had already headed for the airport (or may have even been in the air by that point), the decision had really been taken out of their hands. |

Or Ferrari didn’t want to race so Vettel went to the airport.
He’s part of the team so the actual situation probably developed together. |

This is the more likely scenario. Ferrari had already decided they weren't racing, and had probably notified the FIA, but had not made a public statement.
