That pic is from around 1989 - thought it was worth putting that pic on the site for the comedy effect!

They really don't make them like that anymore...

I had one like that, a Motorola 8500 or some such thing.
I can assure you that it is easily the best phone I've ever had!

Had Derek chose to go to Williams for 1985 (he was offered the drive before Nigel Mansell)would he have been more successful than Nigel?

Dear JR Ewing,

I personally think that Delboy would have at least matched Mansell's success and probably would have bettered them, after all, Warwick was seen as the british driver "most likely to succeed" in the early 80s.

Also may I quote Nigel Roebuck (Autosport GP Editor) on Derek who makes a good (and amusing point) on the debate:-

"I've often thought of how great a British sporting hero we would have had if Mansell's successes could have been combined with Warwick's personality"

The exclusive Q&A with Derek Warwick is now online at

http://uk.geocities.com/ukmoonmonkey...arwick/dw.html

It is an excellent read, especially his views on Bernie Ecclestone!

Many thanks.
