Hello, folks! Welcome to the Chicago round 1 of the 2012 Bet 'Em CupContest. Just like so many organizations expand, I'm expanding my Bet 'Em Contest franchise to the Nascar Cup.

You must pick four different drivers and two different brands:

o- Polesitting driver ($ 300)
o- Polesitting brand ($ 100)
o- Winning driver ($ 1,000)
o- Winning brand ($ 500)
o- Top 5 ($ 200)
o- Top 10 ($ 50)

The stakes for Chicago are:

o- 5 to 1: Hamlin, Johnson, Stewart, Keselowski, Biffle, Earnhardt, Kenseth
o- 10 to 1: Bowyer, Harvick, Truex, Kahne, Gordon, Kyle Busch
o- 20 to 1: Edwards, Ambrose, Newman, Menard, Logano, Burton, Martin
o- 40 to 1: McMurray, Montoya, Almirola, Smith, Labonte, Busch
o- 100 to 1: Rest of the grid (it's a single option)

o- Chevrolet: 3 to 1
o- Toyota: 4 to 1
o- Ford: 6 to 1
o- Dodge: 12 to 1

I don't understand what you mean by "top 12". You can pick Johnson, Edwards, Almirola, anyone for pole, win, top 5 and top 10 at Chicago. Championship bets will come later.

NaBUru38 chose Johnson for the pole and earned $ 1,500. Fire picked Chevrolet for the pole and got $ 300. Gomick and Fieldofdreams went for Keselowski for the win and earned $ 5,000. Fieldofdreams also hitted Dodge for the win, and cashed $ 6,000. Only Gomick selected a top 5 finisher correctly, Kyle Busch, and earned $ 2,000. Fieldofdreams earned 250 for picking Earnhardt for the top 10, whereas NaBUru38 got $ 1,000 for choosing Newman.

So here's the 2012 Bet 'Em CupContest results at Chicagoland round 1:

1st - Fieldofdreams: 0 + 0 + 5,000 + 6,000 + 0 + 250 = $ 11,250
2ns - Gomick: 0 + 0 + 5,000 + 0 + 2,000 + 0 = $ 7,000
3rd - NaBUru38: 1,500 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 1,000 = $ 2,500
4th - Fire: 0 + 300 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 = $ 300
5th - JHamilton: 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 = $ 0

Fieldofdreams won the round 1 convincingly, All gaps between betters were wide - where's the rubbing?
