Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 first win?
I am wondering if anyone knows if the Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 has won a race before?
The reason is this weekend is Round 3 of the Australian GT Championship at Bathurst and Bryce Washington in a Gallardo GT3 took pole yesterday, Race 1 win this morning and a lap record. Is this the first time this has happened around the world? By coincidence, Daily Sportscar covered this very topic in an article which was published yesterday, it makes very interesting reading.............
Reiter have built and delivered 11 Gallardo's for this season (on top of the 8 they built for last season) with 7 more 'on order'. I make that 26 all together (so far!). To answer the thread title, not sure! The car has already won it's class in both the Italian and Spanish GT Championships, but if you are referring to an outright race victory, I suspect this may indeed be a first!
