I wouldn't say smashed the record 'cause Kimi wasn't too far behind. This means nothing to me until Australia.

Ralf was driving, the story is at autosport.com and planetf1.com. Beat the old lap record by nearly a second. Kimi was a further half a second behind Ralf.

The last I read, the Williams car was a full 3 seconds behind the new Ferrari at Jerez. Montoya was driving, but at least to his credit, he's staying optimistic about the car and the season

I suppose the JPM supporters will be saying that the only reason he didn't break the record was because he wasn't there. Tch. Some people will think up any excuse!

Ralf crached Luca's lap record?

I guess that means that Ralf will probably score more championship points than Luca this year ...

The Williams FW24 was never down on speed on one straight lap. Nor was the FW25. Where they both seem to lack is racepace. So this isn't meaning that much to me.
