Bristol will either be hell or brilliant! That is one rough race!

Bah, I thought Las Vegas was next week. Oh well, I'll get some sleep.

Today was a surprisingly good race, but I still dislike Fontana.

It might look like a pile of you know what, but it's certainly going to throw some unpredictability into the mix. Like that was needed at Bristol...! It's gonna be carnage, isn't it?!

Isn't it always. Like DW says, you gotta drive the car at Bristol.

You can also do what Kenny Schrader did one year. He went around to all the drivers and apologized to them......"Before The Race".

Yes. He is considered "as one of the favorites to win the event." Im not so sure however he has surpassed my expectations so far!

My pick is Boris Said. He can drive the road tracks AND he has experience in the heavy Cup cars. Ron Fellows should also be strong.

I'd not say he was a favourite (Boris is always going to do well) but it will certainly play into his hands more than running ovals. I'll look forward to seeing how he goes. A top ten finish should be very much on, maybe a top five? Car dependant, of course!

I think it will be tougher than many are saying actually, for Montoya. Some seem to think he'll take pole and breeze to the win because he has the best road record of anyone out there.

Well, it's not going to happen I'm afraid.

Quite right. But it'll certainly put him closer to the other guys than he has been on the ovals. If he can get the car to the end and score a solid result it should certainly give him a confidence boost!

If I remember well JPM has said in an interview (with autosport.com?) maybe road courses are more difficult than ovals for him. On the other hand a sports car driver like Marc Goossens was quick last year.

The more I think about it the more unsure I am of how well Montoya will do in Mexico. No question that he has the talent. However, those heavy cars may be even more difficult to drive on the road tracks......in any case I am glad that he is racing and eventually he will be really fun to watch competing against the likes of the Gordon, Stewart, Earnhardt, etc .

In contrast to Monty he has experience with big heavy cars on road courses.
