Oh, and I realise that Marshalls are basically screwed, but if they could find a white knight with the green, and the vehicle brand issue were bypassed, could a Marshall/D'Alberto link be beneficial for both?
There is a bloke from your neck of the woods, who previously had dealings with the driver in question, and could actually improve him, and the car, out of sight!

But it probably wont happen

Wasn't it a Tander-spec car?

Wouldn't the problem be behind the wheel in that case?

Heres My take on the Seton departure.

Glenn lives on Gold Coast RNR are in Melbourne the travel was gettign too much for the Family Man and things at RNR must have turned sour - very quickly.

Im told that SGR is not an option Noske/ Bargs and Skaife Murphy are defiante there.

But I do ask this question - could Seton be the or one of the latest "mystery" buyesr of the Marshall Team which is Gold Coast Based. ??

Im thinking we are going to see Glenn in some form - but probably not as a driver or enduro driver - sadly.

The other Question is - with the Restructuring of VESA executive and various positons been shuffled - has Glenn landed himself a job in that organisation?

Maybe the V8xtra spot the other week, was an audition for some future work with Crompton, Larkham, and Skaife on Channel 7 - now wouldn't that be a commentary Combo.

Bathurst 1969 we had a Seton and Moffat in the same Ford team.
Bathurst 2009 could we see a Seton and Moffat in the same Ford Team.

Blue Max - You might be onto something there - or as someone else suggested he might be involved somehow in the MWR entry - but Seto as Co-Driver / Mentor to James Moffatt - is NOT a stupid idea at all, in fact it makes perfect sense to me. But they'd have to change the name to SUPER- Sonic Racing.

As much as I like the guy, I dont think he presents well enough to be on the coverage.. his insights are very good, but the presentation skills are not polished...

There's no doubting Glenn's talent, he easily won 4 from 4 last weekend and smashed half a second off the lap record at the National Historic meeting, Round 1 of the AHTCA Cup.

Are we thinking that GSR could be re-born, in QLD (and maybe in a different form)?

TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Seto must have something in the wind.

I just hope Glenn Seton has a Bathurst drive this year... I'm so worried that he won't grid up this year....

Tony said on In Pit Lane tonight that there had been differences of opinion and some personality clashes within the team all year.
He said he didn't know the exact reason why Glenn had left but he seemed genuinely very disappointed that he would not get the chance to drive with him at Bathurst.
He described Glenn as something of a hero of his and that he had already learnt a great deal from him.
He said no decision had been made regarding a co-driver or replacement race engineer but that there were plenty of good drivers out there without drives.
He specifically mentioned James Moffatt as one of them.

Interesting he mentions James Moffatt without a drive - when he is supposed to be ( or at least rumored to be) the lead driver of Sonics Enduro Effort. Hmmmmm The Plot Thickens.

I don't think so...

http://www.v8supercars.com.au/conten...ttle-o_racing/

Tony D’Alberto is searching for a new race engineer after dual Australian touring car driver Glenn Seton parted ways with the team suddenly earlier this month.
D’Alberto received an email from Seton informing him that he no longer wanted to be race engineer for Bottle-O Racing.

Can anyone confirm, then, who was in the car earlier today?

Is it possible that he hasn't quit the team, but just the bit of it that sees him as race engineer?

It was Tony D'Alberto in the car, not Glenn. The timing was programmed to have Seton in their for the co-driver session.

MeN suggests that this happy family is about to be pulled apart, with sponsor Bottle O and the RNR REC to end up with one of the 4 FPR chassis for 2010!

Agreed, they are struggling for originality and success both on and off the track, and have done for a loooong time. Maybe you and I should offer our services JDI????

Ah. I see now that the balance of almost rans is evening up with more backmarker fords on the grid. That should keep everyone happy.

If FPR run 4 cars, that probably means BPB still has a ride. Ha. bad for the ford fans, but hey at least there is another back marker ....

Slightly off topic, but if it is true about FPR going for a four car team, where is the fourth REC coming from? Mr Fiore or Mr Marshall?
