PWR to the blue oval?
i heard it but wouldn't that make it uneven with cars, with TKR switching even if Britek go down to 1 car i heard Howard could take over that franchise.the odds wouls be stacked in fords favour.

I am sure they will do as well as they did in their initial foray with the blue oval.

Would be the same as years gone buy but with Ford with more cars than Holdern. Who cares if there is only one Holdern team it should be of personal choice by the team owner what car they wish to run.
Personally as long as at least 1 holdern car and 1 ford car is running I would be happy |

Is this a new twist to the annual "DJR to Holden" rumours???

It's probably a good move, they're not going anywhere in Holdens.

They weren't a serious player as a Ford team previously. They were essentially privateers in the old school sense.
It is disticntly not comparable unless they were becoming a Fujitsu series team as well. |

Well I think Ford are looking extremely competitive at the moment, and if PWR do switch to Ford I wouldn't be surprised if they have SBR powerplant under the bonnet.

MN is reporting Mr Marshall Jr is being replaced at PCR by Mr Bowe, so #1 son presumably becomes Mr McConville's teammate... along with the mysterious 3rd car noise that doesnt want to go away For a private team they certainly built a lot of cars, 5 AU Falcons in less than 5 seasons.... |

they might still have those chassis and use them well they are using chassis that are originally VX's so the chassis are about the same age and the ford ones havnt done as much work so all they have to do is give them a face lift up to a BF.
or they could simply do what they doo now and buy the top teams old chassis. |

5 PWR Ford chassis built
- One is in the UK with Mr Sharpe - One is still with Howard Racing, with Mr Sharpe at the wheel - One is in NZ (ex-Howard) - One is with Mr Mundy (CoaL car..) - Other one unknown.... All AUs (therefore not convertible to BF...) |

with the 888 DJR merge rumours the PWR to Ford rumours all we need now is the annual WPS to Holden Rumours to start and then that would even out the numbers again as WPS and PWR would take each others places in their respective stables.
only one thing if WPS come to Holden there might be a bit of controversy about the cosworth sponsership. |

I said a few days ago now that a team may switch. It wasn't PWR that was hinted to me.

If PWR switched to Ford, surely they would lose Murph, as he's tied to Holden. Then, if they lost Murph, I think they'd lose SCA as well.
Not much incentive to move is there? |

Dont think PWR will switch to Ford. I think their relationship with Holden is happy at the moment.

The cars themselves were built well enough, with Mr McLean Sr on the technical side for a time.. but the driver, with virtually zero experience, was unable to offer a technical insight into progressing the setups like the rest of the field.... |
