Dan Rear should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Nobody said he built a GT from the RT2 did they?? In '82 George was in the 772P, the
RT2 must have been 83 onwards for a year or 2 before Libre died

Just to recap - sorry for late response - don't get emails from 10/10ths any longer -

RT2-152 - 1st Toleman car - Henton - end of 1979 season to South Africa - crashed - stripped to form patterns for Lants

RT2-153 - 2nd Toleman car - Dougall - end of 1979 season to Pete Lovely (Gary Gove) 1980 CanAm - then Jim Trueman 1981 CanAm - then Eddie Wachs 1982 Canam - now US vintage racing in Pete Lovely guise

RT2-154 - 3rd Toleman car mid season - Henton - then Genoa Racing CanAm with various drivers including Juan Fangio II - restored as Canam in California then sold to Peter Larner in Oz for vintage racing

1980 RT2-172 - never raced F2 - sent from factory to Cyril Malem, CTG Engineering (also co-founder of Arch Motors) to finish in CanAm format for Bill Blackledge from Florida. Now awaiting restoration for vintage racing (me).

1980 RT2-181 - Cassani - BMW engine F2 - later several drivers in Interseries - was for sale by Thomas Koch in Germany several years ago - anyone know what happened to it? Hope it didn't die.

1981 RT2 - 278 - Wyatt Stanley - followed by several UK owners per above posts - then exported to US for F2 vintage racing - now just been sold to 3rd US owner (on west coast). The only RT2 still in F2 format.

Not all RT2s were same design - biggest difference being rear suspension.

Thx - Derek

Just picked up your post.
I have the RT2 #278 the Wyatt Stanley car. Bought from Eric Lang in 2010. Was based on the West coast USA we restored and raced it all over USA.
Including Indy, Road America, COTA and LSR. Just brought it back to Australia 2018.
Will be running at Phillip Island next month. Does anyone have early photos I can use for HTP. For those interested I have the Spirit F2 201/5 and a few others.
Chris Farrrell.

Chris I used to have two early pics of your car - both provided by 10/10ths members. One was a small fuzzy pic on track, other was with car partially disassembled in a raceshop. I sent these to Jack Crone many years ago. I no longer have any Ralt stuff.

When searching remember that in 1982 Stanley entered the car, incorrectly, as an RH6 - and some say as an RT6.

Good luck with the car - should be a hit in Australia. Enjoyed meeting you at Indy in 2014, Derek.
