Re: Prettiest looking 04 car
BAR : Looks neat and tidy, not too flashy.
Ferrari : It's red and shiny. There's better looking cars though. Jaguar : Looks ok to me (that leaping cat still looks great on the engine cover - it's the one thing Jaguar have got right so far in F1). Jordan : Presumably there's more sponsors to go on the car, but the yellow still works for me (they should bring back the snakes head though). Mclaren : Dull, dull, dull, dull. Horrible scheme - never liked it never will (I know I'm in a minority on that one here ) Minardi : Usual story - paint it black, throw stickers at it. Renault : Good looking car, scheme is an improvement on last year as well. Sauber : Quite a good looking car - hope they've put plenty of paint on it though, the red might start showing through otherwise. Toyota : Ok. Those 2 letters sum up the whole team, the car and the scheme. Williams : That is one ugleeee car. But good on them for having the bottle to go with it. The scheme works well too. |

Personally I think that different viewing angles evoke different thoughts, but the all rounder for sheer presence and aggression has to be...
The Mclaren! |

For all round sheer dullness - the McLaren. I just don't get what people like about that scheme (or team really) It's the 3rd worst scheme on the grid. (But I like Jordan so I'm obviously unhinged ) |

Pure function can be pretty. Not in the case of 2004 GP cars though

To mye eyes when something functions to almost perfection it becomes pretty, even beautiful.
The first car I ever owned I used to lift the bonnet and gaze at the engine and wonder at its beauty day after day. and the Toyota is a good looking car, just that the paint scheme makes it look a bit square and angled. |
