Elden Mk14 Supervee

I've just acquired an Elden Supervee. According to Peter Hampsheir, the car's designer, it is the prototype (PRH14-001). I bought it from the original owner, Mark Litchfield, who raced it up until 1978. The chassis was delivered to the factory in September 1972, but it would appear that progress was slow, as the gearbox was supplied by Hewland in March 1973.

It was in real timewarp condition, and a refurbishment (rather than a restoration) is now under way, to try and retain as much of the original as possible. There were eight Mk14s built, with four of them going to the States. Bruce Venn had a chassis (002?), I've seen a picture of a German one in period, and Fred Phillips won the USA runoffs in his. I wonder if any others are out there?

Here's a picture.
