Mystery bellhouse

As I shall soon be moving house I'm in the middle of decluttering/deciding what to keep and came across an odd bellhousing. Most of my stuff is Lotus Cortina related but this particular housing is not Mk 1 LC and I can't remember getting it.

It's alloy and appears to have been 'Group 4' modified and the starter housing and gear change hole are on opposite sides to the L/C bellhouse. The depth from inner face to outer face is the same at 6 and 1/2 inches and the hole pattern for the gearbox is the same as for the 3 rail Ford box. However, it is quite different at the engine face so unlikely to be from a Kent engine model.

Can anyone identify it? Escort/Pinto? Capri/Pinto? Rocket box/Pinto?
