Spa 24 Hours race thread (...)

Must be off season -- no one opened a thread yet. And it is one of the best races in the season  .

Anyway live timing can be found here: http://users.skynet.be/ris/2004/24hspa/hor.htm

Live streaming video here (starts @ 15:15): http://hibn.com/pop_up/2004/spa2004/index.html

The official website: http://www.proximus24hours.com/

I have put some images of this morning and yesterday on our site as well as the official qualification reports.

they are trying to fix it, eurosport says Alzen Saleen leads from Gollin Ferrari. http://www.eurosport.com/home/pages/...Mtc86691.shtml

Pescatori tyre blow out & big smash, first retirement.

What cars didn't take the start? 47 cars were entered. 41 took the start.

Not that many angles on the live feed at the site you know.

Namely, only one!

Looks like they only bother moving the camera's when Eurosport's on air...which is the only time I don't need it! Dumb dumbs.

Anyone know why the 142 BMW's dropped back a lap? #143 is running in 4th, the Vitaphone's just retaken the lead.

Nevertheless, watch the BMWs... - they'll be there at the end.

I'm impressed with the two Yukos Porsches, not far from the front at all.

Makes you think the GT class cars aren't pushing much at all at the minute. The Friesinger Porsches are lapping as fast as the Viper's & M3's

Maybe they're worried about reliability, saying that 550 should have it all sorted as they've been out a while now

why is the konrad saleen out of the race? mechnical? it seemed like they had problems in the start, and considering how bad the car was damaged thursday night in the fire, it was a miricle that they got out and did 43 laps at least.

im impressed with the pace of the other Konrad /AB Saleen. i just hope it can last. I personally think that they should go at a slower pace, so they can make sure they are not stressing any parts.
