Yeah, I thought Muller would leave it at that, maybe he just wants to give TCR cars a try, as I don't think he's ever driven one

Some time ago I posted this about Comini:

Last week on TouringCarTime this interview appeared, which features some interesting quotes:

Quote:
“We’ve spent a year together and, despite some difficulties, I have lots of respect for the team, they have done a mega job.”
Quote:
“I know I am more mature than ever and the team could see that already for at least the second half of last season."
Still not jumping into conclusions, but it does add up.

Wow Berton and Vervish in the Comtoyou Audis with Dupont and Panis.

Shedden and Vernay confirmed in the WRT team. Strong line up for Audi here

6 audi 4 honda and 4 hyundai on a grid of 26 cars! At the same time 0 opel astra 0 renault megane 0 lada 0 kia... if i was the organizer ill make myself some question.

I thought the meaning of this championship was to have lots different model prepared by manufactures and developed by indipendent teams but what i'm looking is something totally different.

I'm pretty sure that audi and probably also honda will have aerodinamic advantages thanks to their sedan models against the hatchback vw golf, seat leon , alfa giulietta and hyundai.

We have a grid with 11 potential champions at the moment. Could we look to the good things perhaps?

Opel has no money for motorsport programmes now, Kia proved zero in TCR and the Megane is a new car so maybe is better to race them in a national series before
For the Lada let's wait and see

I just emphasized that maybe there should be a max limit of cars of the same models otherwise next year we could also have 26 audi rs3 and 26 potential champions.

If you want to win, you buy a VAG group car, a Honda or a Hyundai.

We have to not forget that TCR is around costumers

If you show that your car is competitive, then you'll have buyers. In this moment VAG, Honda and Hyundai proved to be the best choices. Probably Peugeot will support the DG team that last year struggle with budget and received just little support from Opel.

Opel, Kia and Renault have to line up backed teams if they want to publicize their TCR models in WTCR, or let them race in some strong national championship. It's the same for Blancpain GT and it's the same with the R5 rally cars

The Audi is actually not the best TCR car. The longer wheelbase makes it well-suited for high speed tracks, but that comes at a cost when being raced on tight and twisty circuits, where it's outpaced by the more nimble hatchbacks.

I think teams are drawn to Audi mostly by the highly marketable brand image and the above average customer support program. (Not necessarily in that order)

That's 20 cars.

2 or 3 Campos Seat almost sure (and Oriola as one of their driver) and maybe +1 Honda for Tassi Attila.
+2 car might be belong to Zengő.

I read a rumor in a comment that might be M1RA would run their year old civics for the wild card/guest drivers.

Come on! Where is Comini?!
I don't Very like him, but I mean... It's like not having Vettel or Hamilton in F1.
I Hope that Munnich keeps him.
