kmchow should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
In recent years, I've noticed Hot Wheels, Matchbox and other 1/64 sized model car companies have a lot of touring cars out. I now have a '93(??) BTCC Mondeo, unknown year DTM Mercedes C-Class,unknown year (was there a World Cup sponsored one???) DTM Calibra. Just tonight I noticed there is a CLK LM GTR and even a '99 or 00 V8 Supercar AUSSIE Holden!!!!

What's interesting is that cars can typically be had for $1-2. Considering their scale and their selling price, these cars are totally remarkable!!!

Just yesterday, I was blown away by a 1/64 scale Nascar Mobil 1 transporter. And all for $10US!

Anyone else see any others??

I am a HUGE collector kmchow. I think you hit all the touring car ones, but(going somehwat OT) recently they have been doing a LOT of sportscars cars(porshe gt1, panoz gt1, cadilac lmp, ferarri 333, porshe gt3R, ferarri 355 challenge, trans-am mustang, callaway c7, probably a few I fogot..btw these are all hot wheels). Matchbox did their own version of the porshe gt1 as I recall.

Im also a HUGE collector. I quite like the racing ones as well as the hot rod ones. Every week my collection gets bigger. Ive starting putting them in my draws as ive run out of room. Just the other week i got the 41 Willys. It would have to be my favorite one.

what about you others, whats your favorite hot wheel cars.

When I wrote blown away, I should have added, to the point where I bought the transporter, plus 2 more 1/64 scale Mobil 1 cars to match the transporter. All for $20 US with change!!

Nowadays, I'm doing the racing/touring type of Hot Wheels. Previously, I did the street cars
