Would appreciate any help please on the cars we ask about in this thread. More links to photos and drivers names. Im guessing Per Eklund but its a guess. Also did he drive an Audi as well?

It's Per Eklund indeed in front of Rob Gibson in Tomelila (Spelling?) Swedish ERC round. I don't think Per ever drove an Audi in Rallycross but I'm pretty sure he did so in Rallies.

Yep, Per Eklund leading Rob Gibson at the "Mushroom Circuit" (Svampabanan) at Tomelilla. And yep again, I myself pictured Per (together with Dave Whittock) driving a GpA Audi 80 quattro in the 1984 Austrian "January rally" (Jännerrallye), where I also took this http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bild:Wu...3%A5rd1984.jpg pic of the great Franz Wurz as the co-driver for the greater Björn Waldegård…

I don't remember Per ever driving an Audi in rallycross- Saabs, 6R4s and Subarus, but not an Audi- he did rally Clarion-backed Audis though

Yeah I think its that thats confusing me. Thank you anyway guys. We now have the Per Eklund 6R4 being painted up. We only have one picture of it though. Anymore???

Not to forget his RX Porsche 911! And on a very few occasions he even drove a rent-a-car from Martin Schanche.
