Yes should be a great race. Personally my favourite enduro. Over 60 cars are expected for the actual race though. I was waiting for a entry list but the offical site www.proximus24hours.com has not published one yet. When they do, perhaps someone could do a Prediction thread?

Should be a cracking year this year.

Im not 100% sure but Id think its likely. They raced a semi works effort last year, so woudnt be a huge suprise to see them there. I do know however that the factory Morgan will be there.

Could be a full grid of 68 cars.......jihaaaaaaaaa

The Aero 8, Seat GT, Pagani, Vertigo's.....oh yeah plus the odd Viper, Saleen, Lister, 550, and a few Beetle-type cars. Alzen's turbo is also expected........

I don't think the Pagani will be there.

Wasn't the 575 going to debut at Spa?

You forgot to name:
- Marcos
- Ferrari 360
- Corvette

I was just thinking too, will Tomas Enge be at the Spa 24hrs driving for MenX? The reason I question this is because there is a ALMS event 2 days before the 24hrs, what are the chances of him flying back from the USA to Belgium? I hope he does race at Spa though, the series needs high profile drivers like him.

The race is going to be great, that is certain.I'm guessing that the Larbre car will have a great run again. That car is build like a tank and do not underestimate the Zakspeed Viper....

Also let's see what the Mosler of Mr. Short will add to the race...

65 cars, 25 GT2/GTS type cars. I'm drooling at the prospect of me being there as a journalist.... and this time it's not a dream...

Well the Belcar-Corvette at spa? Doesn't look good at the moment. But the Pagani....you could be surprised.

Zakspeed Viper........that could be THE car. After the 24 hours of the Nordschleife they have some unfinished businees with their Dodge aka Chrysler Viper

The Spa-version will be an other chassis than the Nordschleife-version

Last year there was a Lamborghini Diablo on the grid. Anybody knows if this car will be there again?
Also wondering if Cor Euser has plans to enter the race with the LM600?

Yes, I've heard those rumours at Spa during the Euroraces......would compete in the national class. Like the vertigo last year........

But,like always, budget was until a few weeks ago not complete.

Could be a pleasant surprise in the opening hours of the 24 hours

No 'vette at Spa......damn!!!!

Jos Van Campenhout (teamchef)
translation: The Selleslagh racing team has decided not to participate in the 2003 Proximus 24 hours of Spa with the Corvette C5-r, with which they are participating in the Belcar championship.

At this moment there are not enough technical and budgetary resources to have a competitive run at this race.

The team is focussing this year on the Belcar championship and is fully concentrating on the preparation of the 24 hours of Zolder where it has high hopes.

(translation WRR)

I have exact information from MENX, Enge will busy in US ALMS race in same term, Pergl will share car with another Czech driver Janis and his team mate from F3000 racing team Superfund ISR Charouz french driver Schroeder.

I think Larbre's chances are much diminished without Bouchut or Bourdais.

Belmondo could spring a suprise when the top cars have problems. And if Euser enters his LM600 than he will be there for the first 2-3 hours at least.

Any bets on how long the Force 1 Festina cars will last!?

Was just checking the British Eurosport schedule. http://www.eurosport.co.uk/pages/V3/...d=2&Gener=true From what I can see we get 2hrs 45 minutes of coverage at the moment. But if the race gets good viewing figures I woudnt be suprised to see them give it some more, theres a lot of stuff there which they could cancel, as a lot of it is re-runs.

Also ud do well to check Eurosport news channel, they covered the entire FIA GT Brno event live. And for Le Mans gave 5 minute updates every 15 minutes, so I woudnt be suprised to see this happen.
