2008 F1 Predictions Competition - round 1, Australia.
F1 is back in just under a fortnight and so is the prediction competition, as ever.
Rules and guidelines The aim of the game is to correctly guess the fastest qualifier on Saturday, the top eight race finishers on Sunday and the man who posts the fastest lap of the race also. Points are awarded as follows:
Pole position: 1st: 2nd: 3rd: 4th: 5th: 6th: 7th: 8th: Fastest lap: You can enter at any point over the year, your score will always be counted. It is just a casual game after all, a bit of fun. IMPORTANT: DEADLINE CHANGE I have decided to make a small change to the deadlines these must be posted. Previously, any entries past the commencement of first practice were binned. I have decided to allow fifteen minutes grace this season for those who suddenly remember when they realise practice is imminent. So, any entries up to the fifteenth minute of Friday first practice will now be accepted. Hopefully, this will make things a bit better for you all. When will I find out my score? I will endeavour to post the results within 48 hours of race end in a seperate thread and there will also be the points table. There will be two tables, one with the points scored per round and total and the other will be a medals table to assist with tie-breaks at seasons end. This will be unimportant then for the most part, it just saves me tallying up these things at the end of the year and saves me time (selfish I know). So, that's the general shape of things. Get your entries in for the first round, the Australian GP, in this thread and the best of luck to you all! Let's see who is the one to knock me flying spectacularly off my perch.
