John Bowe Motorsport Hall of Fame

Speedcafe reporting that John Bowe is to be inducted into the Australian Motorsport Hall of Fame.

Well done JB.

As a preparatory measure with respect to the intention to lobby CAMS regarding the (to date) omission of Garrie Cooper from the Hall Of Fame, the opinions of the community's members would be appreciated.

Well my opinion is that Garrie Cooper should have been an obvious candidate for Hall of Fame recognition. John Bowe did race a few Elfins!

IMHO Garrie Cooper is clearly Hall of Fame material. Should only be a question of "when" he is inducted rather than "whether".

This.

The guy contributed to Motor Sport in Australia not only as a race and championship winning driver in his own Elfin Cars on an international scale, (ie 1968 Singapore GP) but also as the designer producer and engineer of Elfin Cars cars in many categories that now form part of Australian Motorsport history, and indeed still feature in the best Historic events.

A no-brainer .
