They are talking about how ridiculous the safety cars are.
At Fuji, the 2nd safety car pulled off way before the first, and the 2nd queue effectively made up 20 seconds on the 1st queue. |

Looks like the #1 Audi has lost the pace.

Fassler has been off the pace at Fuji and it seems the same is going on here. I believe that next year the #1 will have only Andre and Ben in it for the sprint races, and they might be joined by Duval if Marcel can't pick up the pace.

Something really off with the R18's--the leading Rebellion Lola is running almost as fast now.
EDIT: Jani also getting close to the Toyota's times as well. |

Amazing the Toyota is down 10-15km to Audi on top speed, but yet is about 1 sec a lap faster.

An Audi finally sets a decent time with a 1:49.4. Still half a second back of the Toyota's best, and not good enough to get the job done without a lot of help (FCY), and that's a crapshoot at best.
I have to say that the Toyota's downforce is like that of the Red Bull F1 cars--it hurts them as far as straightline speed, but the trade off is a great overall lap. Audi and everyone else will def. need those rear wing endplate extensions and changes to the nose to balance it. It helps lap time and seems to help tire wear, too. #2 Audi seem to be slightly eating into the #7's lead right now, but #7 might just be backing off to save fuel and tires.

RLM says that the Toyota has on average been over three quarters of a second faster than the #2 Audi, which is why it's believed why the #7 Toyota will likely win by probably 45 seconds to a minute by the end of the race, with the #1 Audi trailing the Toyota by three quarters of a lap.

Lotterer with a 1:48.9, very close to the Toyota's fast time. As posed on air, why couldn't Audi run competitive times in the race until now?
