F1 exists for the competition. The crowd is secondary to the result. Appendix K highlights that classic racing is about the cars. At the Classic the whole racing programme is a tremendous backdrop to a great weekend of socialising. It won't be the usual great motorsport Festival without the crowds, so sadly I have to draw a similar conclusion.
