VSCC Western Australia Collie Crown Historic event

For those who may have an interest in the other side of Australia
The Vintage Sports Car club of W.A. hosted the second Collie Crown Historic meeting at the Collie Motorplex over the w/e

cool, although hot is probably more appropriate

and you get proper cars out there as well !!!

My definition of REAL cars may be somewhat off but here is a couple more of them!
Still most of the Proper racing cars run a similar engine ( lol

good to see your not afraid of 4 door cars as well, no one races them over here, they're much cheaper to pick up though

If you look at Australian motorsport history, typically you'll find that if it had wheels then it could be raced.
There are still some odd sorts being races today
Escorts & Cortina's still make up quite a few numbers

R8 . . .thats one more over there than I've seen over here !

I've lost the date selection debate for our trip next year so we're over at the end of Jan for a few weeks, don't think theres anything going on in NSW then and we're going to miss Philip Island !!!

I've alreadt tempted an Aussie racer over for Spa (he's done the 24hr ) and will discuss further when we visit . . . .I'd hope we can do a return race

In the West, We are so far from the East Coat of Oz that it would be like travelling from the UK to Russia in distance. mid December to mid Feb is generally the off seaon.
