Mercedes dropped the ball....they could have easily handed an extra point to max by putting bottas

Alpine was the team that shone, but for a somewhat less than stellar performance that anyway brought home a win, and showed why they are the best and most certainly win the championship an 8th time, I voted Mercedes.

Mercedes achieved nearly everything they needed. McLaren continues to impress (Honey Badger's qually notwithstanding). But it was Alpine that surprised me with their performance so I gave my vote to them.

Alpine for their rate of improvement and the racecraft of their drivers on Sunday. But Mercedes had another strong weekend which ominously points to, perhaps, another season at the top. Max really was a sitting duck.
