Rallycross Stockhatch or Mod?

Hi

Just thinking about getting back into rallycross but what's happening ? is stockhatch still good fun or is it not supported anymore and still suffering from lots of pannel damage?

Would be looking to do BRDA for me and BTRDA for the other half can this still be done at one meeting by sharing the car ?

Also what is happening in the Mods is their a budget class for this that we could both use the car for at a single meeting?

Have checked out the usual web sites but their is very little info on them

I havent a clue what the scene is like in the uk and cant really comment, but i more concerned that you couldnt find any info on the classes relating to your query;

Anyway you think us website owners can improve the sitation dont hesitate to spill Afterall if we arent gettin the info that people need to see out there we are failing in our aim!

Marjy, the answer is yes to all the modified questions, BTRDA / BRDA can use the same car two different drivers, same goes for stockhatch.

Stockhatch is a little rough, but thats now its always been?

From what I've seen of it this year stockhatch is the same as it ever was - mostly good clean fun, gentle nudges here and there on the loose stuff and a couple of loons that seem to think contact is part of the deal. They do seem to be the minority though - the Lydden meeting was largely well mannered (largely - not totally ).

Stocks are fairly much the same as they always have been pal, nothings changed much since u where last out.

Think a lot of people would like to go mod, but budgets are getting quite serious now for a competative car.

It will be good to get you back out what ever u do again.

what about mods in the btrda !!!! then have a look about could use the car in other series like semsec etc , revivals , you don't need to chuck loads off doe at it , unless you have a 100k laying around , depends if you doing it for fun , of if you wanna win then you better by a lotus or vx220 .

Some spec but also some price tag. The Lotus is starting to look like very good value for money at the price it was bought.

hi marty .i know my old 205s back up for sale . its over in ireland at the moment . walishy who uses this site got it now .was taking to him the other week and said he wanted 3000 euros for it .planning to make a return my self next year , :

Youve hardly been out. Apart from the new shell that wasnt my fault, ive had to replace 3 wings, bumpers etc and that was only in the first 3 events

by the looks of little brothers car its been a fairly rough year and i ve not been there to cause any of it anyway dave ,as i remember it you broke a driveshaft and i ran into you , i did try try to get out the way so i didnt hit you but it wasn,t to be sorry. it ll be good to get back out and race again after having a year out have to addmit i ve been practising my left foot braking this year and i think ive got it sorted .

Certainly been in the thick of it this year. That was a heavy old shunt at anglesey!

Fair play to both our teams though, got both cars back out for the rest of the day. Looking at the list, it's certainly a health size entry for the event.

Think thats quite a reasonable price myself, especially for the spec, and knowing how much some of that stuff costs. Our build cost was nearly 3 times that. Granted you would never get that much if its sold on, but in comparison......
