WEC was always gonna massively lose with the departure of Audi. The battles between the ToyotaxPorsche are very nice, when they happen, but that is quite rare and that's what's hurting WEC right now. GTs are definitely the stars of the show now

Wasn't that on strategy? They took no tyres to get them in clear air for a while I think. When the strategies shook out, G-Drive and Rebellion 31 were leading. Signatech have had a pretty terrible race.

Lack of Audi has hurt LMP1-H but I thought Silverstone was a great battle between Toyota and Porsche, especially with the tyre strategy

Sure, by leaving Cheng out of the car for as long as possible
I think it was basically on merit. Gommendy passed quite a few cars (with a bit of bumping) and Brundle did some too.
The other teams went through their slower drivers while #37 didn't.

Of course Cheng is now losing 7-8 seconds a lap.

I think he means race. Comparing like for like.

Lotterrer said his qualifying lap on Friday was quicker than any of the laps he did in the Caterham in 2014.

Pitted under green just before a FCY. 8 Pitted under yellow and jumped it. Time cost was around 40 seconds or so.
