i stopped following the last 40 minutes, looks like lots of spots were made up after that, including RC making out the basement!

We will see what the extra boost brings to the table today, and it appears the rain is forecasted for later in the evening/overnight now. Could get some meaningful running in today.

Illot is apparently brave according to other drivers, car was a beast and scary. Swapping chassis today to Canapino's rookie test car but no running with extra boost so tomorrow morning could be rough on him. Hopefully Canapino's car works better than Illot's old one

Oh, the TV coverage said it was a brand new chassis from Dallara. Either way hopefully it makes a difference. Although, before Indy they "flex" tested Illots original chassis because of the handling issues during the open test and didn't find anything wrong.

Generally speaking, I think the best thing to do here is go faster than other people.

Turns out it was the other way round, it was a new chassis to begin with and they switched to the Canapino chassis.

Not sure how much better Ilott is this morning based on his 3 laps this morning.

Yeah, Ilott was running Canapino's rookie test car today. It didn't look much better. Think he'll be there odd man out but the week depend on draw tomorrow for last row qualifying

Judging by the drivers statements I'll go with not at all easy to drive and stable. More than a few only made 3 laps before backing out of 4th lap. They need to run 4 today

Biggest thing I've picked up, go when the clouds come out. Other than that it's a crapshoot and you hope for favorable winds on the back stretch

Penske pulled 2 cars back to the garage instead of run 1, Newgarden and McLaughlin pulled back to run later out of lane 1 instead of their guaranteed slot

13th for RC at 231, likely have to make a second run later
