Yep, count me in. Will be good to be back, not having been able to visit the last couple of years.

Going by my record so far at Gurston, take care through Hollow guys - I'd like to do one week-end without someone having a major off there.

Note to myself:-

Allocate Woolley to marshals post S-Approach for the whole weekend

It'll be good to see you again mate.

lets face it, Madonna ain't going to sound as good as a Gould. Actually, she's probably not going to sound as good as a Jedi...

Alan, looking forward to it, although isn't S-Approach at Shelsley?

Dad's Lad should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
There is an entry list updated last Thursday on the Gurston website: - http://www.gurstondown.org/drivers.htm#entries/finals

Hopefully my weekend will stay free and I'll be able to make my first visit down there.

You couldn't pay me enough to sit through Madonna, never mind volunteering.

Jan will be looking for daytime drinking partners since she'll have her foot up in bandages having had her bunion done.

That's funny, he strikes me as the sort to be a bit of a closet madonna fan. Will have to ask him next time I see him!

What a great week-end. The usual friendly Gurston crowd who really helped look after 'Hopalong' who was not easily able to get around.

A great run by Jos Goodyear resulted in one fastest qualifier time (ended in the wall) and a win on the second run. Chris Merrick was a cracking third too. More bad luck for Groves/Ransom meant a spin and a fail for Paul and a win and non-start for Martin allowing Scott to score enough points to be confirmed as champion.

GIT barbecue was good on Saturday and then Scot's party on Sunday night meant a wonderful social occasion with a stonking motorsports event to accompany it! Everything hillclimbing should be about.

Very well done to Scott on a worthty Championship. Well done to Jos for his 2nd round win, although a change of attitude from some members of the team will be required if a Championship is to follow (notwithstanding full respect to Mick (Pilbeam) Howlett) Roll on next season, defending is even harder than wining.

Yes well done Scott and the Moran team, you have drove very well, never over reached, and done exactly what is needed to take the championship.
The effort by the team, keeping on top of the car and always having it well turned out has paid off, i dont think it has ever let you down. Well done!!
Also Jos on his first real win, i know he has before but this one was on even grounds. A young man that is gaining experience and maturity with every round, and a good family/team around to support him, will be a contender next year.
