A new Champ

For those of you who dont know yesterday Scott Moran clinched his first (and hopefully not his last) British Hillclimb Championship at Gurston Down..

Hearty congratulations go out to him and Team Moran for a stunning season (and it hasn't finished yet)....

Also a big pat on the back for Martin Groves who despite a terrible season with regards reliability still managed to keep banging the all important times in and keep us all on the edge of our seats....

Lets hope next years title race is as thrilling with perhaps one or two more joining the title hunt

And what a fabulous win it was...

Emotion was running high and I am very happy that I was at Gurston instead of the scheduled madonna trip.

Well done to Scott and team Moran for all the hard work... the celebrations last night were fab aswell, thank you to all xxx

Many congratulations to Scott, commiserations to Martin. Another cracking season, and it was great to be present at the champion's party last night.

Well done Scotty, nice job young man. Hopefully will get the chance to congratulate him in person in the next few days when I'm back at work.

Maybe Scotty could come to Bathurst, and see if he could win the Australian Championships as well!
Too many fast cars and drivers here....not a good idea! Lol!

Well of course the Ozzies that come to play in our summer season are making such a name for themselves over here.
Will be making the way back covered in garlands and trunks full of silverware.

Yeah, right.

To be fair, I think we only have one Aussie and he's in a Cooper 500. If he won in that, he'd be very special indeed!

He is Dutch/Australian

I think your confusion (aside from the obvious ) comes from the fact he works and lives in Switzerland

Well besides Terry 'Misfire' Wright we do have Scott Taylor who comes over for the summer although in all fairness he does do mainly circuits with the old timer brigade.
