Loton Park practice day

Going to be cold, but intending to be out tomorrow for first play of the season.

Anyone know what time's sign on in the morning?

Not long spoke to Pete, 8:30 sign on, see you there. For some reason I've been struggling to get motivated for this season. Nothing like knowing I'm coming out to play to start the excitement levels picking up.

A good day. Quiet in terms of incident and very cold. Good to catch up with everyone again, and many thanks to Hagley&DLCC for the amount of thought that was given to allow marshals respite from the cold and regular hot, free coffee. It doesn't take much and it goes a long way in terms of goodwill. Much appreciated by me and everyone I spoke to.

Was much the same today as well......Though not quite as cold as yesterday

A sympathetic timetable and breaks for marshals to get hot drinks and a good prompt finish...

Well done H&DLCC

It was certainly a chilly one. Well done to all the marshals on the bank.

Glad everyone had a good time this weekend. We are now moved into the new flat and slowly running out of feasible excuses to miss anymore meets. Will see you all very soon.

I was saving that for a truly wet weekend.

The flat is far too nice to have a flat warming party in it... maybe a civilised dinner party but then that would mean a lot of my friends wouldn't be able to come. They don't do civilised.

How about some alfresco dinning on the lawn with a few games of croquet?

I didn't get that far, I was frozen to the spot, but now the wall has gone I could atleast see it, dont have to stand on my soap box to look over the wall. Hopefully it will be warmer this weekend.
I had it suggested, to keep warm as I was hogging the heater on the unit, we should share body heat , SO I have got some thermals for this weekend. and my councilor said the mental images will soon fade.
