Lee Purnell should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ok, someday you will all have to give in. One day there will be a meeting of the gang at Combe.
Who's up for it? The next meeting is on the 23rd/24th September.
The Eurocar package, including V8's, V6's and Eurofirst (formula first)
Caterham Suprlights and Roadsports.
Formula 600
And the absolutly brillient circuit championships.
It should be good.
Price, £5 on Saturday, £10 on the sunday, paddock £2.50, it is well worth a visit.
Who is up for it?
It should be good, plus, maybe the chance for some camping and a party

What a grand idea you have there Lee...

Yep - i'm up for it for sure. BUT, and this is a big but, I want ALL the folks to turn out - that includes Graham...

Camping sounds great - the chance to take the 10 Tenths bandwagon to another unsuspecting area of the country will be unmissable - they'll not know what hit them!

Come on folks, stick your name down - there is nothing clashing that weekend, the tickets are cheap, Eurocar is great entertainment, and we get to meet the other half of the family... what more could you want ?

Good God!!! I was planning to camp... perhaps I've just changed my mind!!

Shall be present both days, so no doubt see you guys there...

Also, the view of most people I've spoken to at Combe is that Saturday is probably the best day - so no excuses for missing it..

Sorry, probably too far from wherever the hell I am in September, in any case, I think originally I was planning Formula Saloons at Oulton that weekend.

Definitely count me in for Sunday, have to check to see if I can get time off work to go on the Saturday, I'll try my best
Can you actually camp within Combe itself or are you planning to camp outside somewhere?

NO BLOODY WAY am I making promises because it'll be insufferable on here if I then can't make it. So I'll just register my intent that I MIGHT come and that if I do, you should be able to spot me being the purple person that I am.

There's no point saying yes or no because I just don't know.

Sorry.

Don't worry Mr 42 - that'll be the first thing into the car...

Graham - that's pathetic! You have to think positively - you will be there! You WILL be there! YOU WILL BE THERE!!

OK ?

I've decided that i'm not going to mail your 10 Tenths cap now - if you want it, you'll have to get your arse down to Combe and meet us (don't worry, we're not as bad as we're made out to be! - Lee will vouch for us...)

Good to have you on the bandwagon, Jeff, and sorry Carrie can't be there

It's all very well saying that, but I'm certainly not going to let my family down to go galivanting around the countryside. If I can be there, I will. If I can't, I won't. Simple as that.

I'm not afraid of meeting you - I'm afraid of not living up to my responsibilities.

Right, Lorna can't make it anymore I'm working Saturday, but will try to make it Sunday still - I think Invader and Dano are going too though, but my memory from this past weekend is a little hazy in places, so they'll have to confirm that...

Tony - what's on at Snet and have you got a timetable for Brands on Oct 21st/22nd? Fiesta Winter series isn't it. That I wouldn't mind seeing.

Hi Les
I've been doing the BARC Classic package this year in a Classic FF1600, it was run over 8 rounds, we shared billing with the CSCC mob, now them and us have additional meetings before the end of the season so the CSCC boys are off to Snett - don't know exactly whats on the bill, about 5 races for CSCC formulae and some other stuff. There is a thread in Trackside about it.
Oct 20/21 Brands - "Winter Fiesta's" - is it heck ! - it's the Formula Ford Festival, aka. World Cup. It's all the FF stuff, National Zetec's, Historic (pre 71), Classic (pre 74 & pre 81), Super Classic (pre 89 I think), Radical Enduro's and Sports 2000's, no FF2000 this year for some reason. Anyway a good day out and a chance to see who may be in F1 in a couple of years, Jenson B won it couple of years ago.
