Saw a McLaren on the interstate. Orange too. It got stuck in traffic and they got out opened it up to get stuff out of the boot.
No pictures Mrs43 said at the time “no photo, so it didn’t happen”. |

Yeah, I've had that problem a couple times with nice, well nice for some of us trashier car fans, rides on the road and phone not mounted high or screen off
VERY VERY nice condition 5th gen El Camino, likely original owner still driving it. Did give him a nod and nice as we passed |

It makes a good backdrop for the photo. What is it?
The T license plate. Obviously here isn’t a minimum length. It has reminded me, I need to renew my registration. |

Upper picture is Georgia state revenue building I believe, second picture is the legislative offices. I've heard very nice and cheap cafeteria in there

Not many to be seen over here either. Years ago my mate had a Carlsson Turbo. Great machine. In 2022 there were apparently only 6 left on the road in the UK.

I don't see many Saabs either, seem to have long gone out of fashion. Can't remember the last one that came out. But I'm sure there's a few lurking

Vice Grip Garage has a video on a sweet old tiny tiny Saab, think it has an old V4 in it. Saw one on FB marketplace recently, was NOT a runner

Does anyone know what the last Saab produced was? As I said earlier they seem to have gone out of fashion. And with so much modern tech, they don't fill requirements anymore.
But still, it's good to hear stories on here |

The last models from Svenska Aeroplan AB were the '99' released in 1968 and the '97/Sonett II' released in 1966. The last models from Saab-Scania were the '900 "Classic"' released in 1978 and the '9000' released in 1984. The last models from GM/Investor AB were the '9-3' released in 1998 and the '9-5' released in 1997. The last models from GM were the '9-3' 2003 model, the '9-2X' released in 2005 (a badge-engineered Impreza) and the '9-7X' released in 2004. The last model from Spyker was the '9-4X' released in 2011. Currently, the '9-3EV' is on sale with a Saab badge and made by NEVS. In short - many enthusiasts would say the last real Saab was the 9000, coming from a wholly Swedish-owned perspective. The last model developed as a Saab was the 9-4X. But a car wearing the Saab badge is still being produced today - the 9-3EV. |

I feel that I am about to go far from the intent of this thread, but it was a car I spotted over the weekend, indeed a Saab. In fact I watched it with interest, even photographed it.
Not a road car I have to say. A Saab 9-3 Sports Sedan. With a 740hp Chev engine. Its been around for many years, now raced by the son of the original builder. Its quite brutal, but very fast and decimated the opposition this last weekend at Sandown Park. Sounds great as well. More on it here: https://www.saabplanet.com/thomas-ra...aab-9-3-740hp/ Apologies for the diversion. Its just we were talking Saab talk and I thought it might be of interest..... the things people do with Saabs. Even Sunday driver / used weekends only type Saabs |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Tk0...l=ThomasRandle On that note, I did a quick search around and couldn't find much more on the engine, but from the above video, it sounds similar to a Holden Supercar V8, so I'd assume it's something like that? |
