BOSSman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
EuroBOSS

Very sad news for the whole EuroBOSS family!

Bernie Harris was rushed into hospital last Thursday with a major brain hemorrhage and died two days later on Saturday, March 14.

Bernie 'Le Bolt' Harris drove 30 races in BOSS from 1997-2003.
He was a real character and there are many funny stories about him.

I think some of you remember Bernie, particularly in his beautiful Beatrice Lola Turbo car.

Our deepest condolence goes to his family!

Rest in peace Bernie, see you later...

Hello All!!

I would just like to make the announcment, of the youngest Boss racer being born!! Our beautiful baby daughter, Emily, arrived on Tuesday 24th March @ 3:50am. She was born 10 weeks early, so was very keen to make a entrance!!! She is doing well and is still in the special care baby unit, but she is proving to be a tought little cookie!!!

I will hopefully see you all at Brands!!

Congrats!

If she was a few hours earlier, she could have shared her birthday with me and Adrian Reynard

Autosport print is reporting Ricardo Rosset has/is going to buy his old Arrows car & go racing with it somewhere in Europe (Euroboss sounds most likely).

Dr Emmet Brown is the man to contact for a flux capacitor. IIRC he had some success installing them in De Lorean's in the 80's.
I'll PM you his phone number

Surprise, surprise!

Yes correctly, ex-F1 GP driver Ricardo Rosset has already bought his original '96 Arrows (Footwork FA17) and will do some races in EuroBOSS 2009 before he ship the car to his home country Brazil! The last information I have is that he plans 2 or 3 races with us!

Dijon official test day entries later...

...and for those of you who have not read this in 'Autosport', the complete press text:

"Ex Formula 1 driver Ricardo Rosset is planning a return to competition in Europe later this year, in the Footwork Arrows he raced in 1996.

The Brazilian made his racing comeback in his domestic GT3 championship last year, finishing runner up in a Ford GT. Now he is eager to return to the cockpit of a F1 car, most likely in the EuroBOSS series, and has bought a Footwork FA17 from a Norwegian owner.

He will entrust preparation to single seater powerhouse Fortec Motorsport, running under the team AJS banner. Fortec owner Richard Dutton used to manage Rosset and ran him to his only British Formula 3 win in 1994.

Dutton said: "He's going to come over once a year to run it in whatever category he can. After not driving for 10 years he surprised himself last year in the GT3 series with how competitive he was, so he's bought the car and he's going to drop it off with us. It will be great fun to work with Ricardo again."

I was being polite.......his engine let go before he could "get up to speed"

His friend however made some cracking F1 car noises as he walked around the track, steering his imaginary car, changing gear.........

Jo was a lovely bloke though.

cannot see Fortec getting the arows a17 working
easy for them to strip rebuild the f1 car but it has semi auto gearbox
so they will need input from F1 perosnel who know the car or throw away the original kit and fit modern system
