Rossi swept the competition at NJMP, claiming the 2008 title. Look for some big news regarding Rossi's future to be released soon. He's a great driver and great kid..... job well done.

Watch out for the 2009 season! A young Aussie named James Kovacic is going to make his debut in this series with a new team called OS Race Team based in Australia. He will only be 14 but he has won so many National and state championships in Australia and hes already fast testing the FBMW this year. He will be one to watch!

Alexander Rossi
There is no doubt in my mind the Alexander will be in Formula One. I have never met a more focused athlete or race driver in my entire life. I have worked with 6 NASCAR Cup Stars, two Craftsmen Truck Veterans, while meeting many drivers from across the world.
This young man is Americas Champion. He will hopefully do what no American born racer has ever done. Win a F1 World Championship! As with all talent...in racing...Money, money, money is what we need next. Any ideas here? |

Well if BMW have any sense as we know they do anyway, they'll exploit this to the max. Wouldn't be surprise to see him signed up on a long term mentoring package so that in 2-3 years time Mario Thiessen can have an American driver to help his team and F1 in general remarket itself in the US?
F3 Euroseries for Rossi next season perhaps, or how about the new F2 as a long shot? |

F2 is a big step, i think formula renault or F3 or even formula masters first before F2, GP2 or WRS. |

yes, traditionally the next step up would be where he would go, but nowadays commercial priorities see drivers sometimes moving on up a bit more rapidly.
As F2 isn't likely to be all that much quicker than F3, and certainly not as quick as either WSR or GP2, a step from BMW to F2 wouldn't be a big deal. |

Alexander Rossi hopes
As of this past week, Alexander is hoping to move to Europe for a chance to race in the BMW Series there. With testing and race dates and this economy, staying in Europe is the only way. We don't want to see another Michael Andretti...or even Mario.
Frowns occur if your not living the proper way.... |

Some interesting news out of the Formula BMW-Americas series this morning; Rahal Letterman Racing will oversee the series for 2009 and beyond. The appointment will take place on January 1st, 2009.
