THey tried it many years ago, it was called the Olympus Rally and it was an abject failure, the works teams hardly bothered with it, and it quickly became a round to miss.
Stages were nice, but unless you combine it with a round in South America (Argentina,Mexico) and put them a week apart I cant see it ever working. Besides it isnt ESPN, Block, Crash happy enough for most yanks, they prefer things like mud bog racing |
