I know of two who have accepted and one who sadly had to decline so they are coming through so be patient and like the weekend - hope the wait is worth it!!! With 40 odd starters I would be surprised if anyone gets let down

Amazes me why snail mail is still used for all these things. Luckily I gave our London office address, otherwise it may have reached me in Moscow around Monday 7 July!!

Prompted me to make a phone call, and our entry has come through- should use ByBox for those mission critical deliveries!

and do they all still run? Think Zolo has has as much luck with hers, as I've had with mine.

yes they do!! Tony Maschio's was my old one DOY 71D - a sweet car and Christian Flackett's red and white Alfa (I developed that from a lovely Danish car) and another which I haven't seen for a bit. Get them right and they are sooooo nice to drive!

I'm getting there with her set-up - the Alfa is easier to race than my brothers Tisa, i couldn't believe the difference in handling and brakes or should i say lack off.....

Fantastic fun to drive, very predictable handling, easy to hold in a slide and at the same time frustrating, four years of DNF's with just about anything that can break or fall off, not designed for the additional power, still I think we are just about there now (he says with his fingers crossed)

Perhaps its my antipodean upbringing, but I don't really get the Alfa thing. They are not extremely quick (unless a huge amount of money is spent), seem incredibly delicate, quite unreliable, an alloy body means super money to fix and.....

Perhaps by preferring the Dagenham Dustbin its simply a lack of culture on my part.....

I know what you mean Roger, but you really have to drive one in anger, then you would see the attraction.

Maybe, but then you realise what you can buy for the same money!

I admit that GTA's are a big premium over Lotus Cortina's and they are tricky to get right (like the L-C's) but when they are done they are robust and wonderful to drive. The comment about what you can get for similar money is a fair one however.
Would I buy an all singing all dancing GTA if I had the money? Not sure, but if if L-C and GTA were both L-C money I would probably take a GTA. Funnily enough the Ti Super is not as nice as the centre of gravity does feel high although I do like their quirky looks!

As Simon say's,they do fetch a premium figure but a properly prepped and sorted one is lovely, quite a lot more advanced than an LC but going back to prices, how much are works LCs fetching these days?.
