It does say they can do your choice of colour if you want 15 or more, and get your own logo put on. Maybe some with a 10ths logo, added to the merchandise range???

Wasn't there an article in the Observer today about fire-retarding chemicals potentially causing polar bears to born hermaphrodites? Maybe you shouldn't wear this unless you've already birthed your children.

I know it's cold there but do Polar bears need flame resistant fleeces

Anyhow $140 for a Nomex fleece is a luxury item out of my price range .

With global warming, they might!

Nah, apparently the polar regions are somehow "chemical sinks" (maybe because the temperature keeps the chemicals stable?) resulting in a lot of chemical pollution. They found an extremely high incidence of this chemical stored in the fat of these bears. They aren't sure if this connection is certain but it makes me think about putting children in flame-resistant pajamas or wearing a nomex balaclava.

OK I guess it doesn't get that cold even at silverstone to merit the cost or the risk of having greek polar bears!!

Cheers

Depends on the price really. Perhaps you should forward their details to Eric Ridler to see what kind of a deal he could do?

...but as you wear white wouldn't it be easier just to get the polar bear to do the flagging?

Supply of NON-FIRE PROOF Orange Clothing

Don't know if anyone will be interested but .........

If anyone is looking for general clothing in Orange such as Fleeces, then have a look at this website :- http://www.blueroompromotions.co.uk/ and click on Products, then catalogue at the bottom of the page.

For example, i have found this Orange Fleece, Click Here then click Fleece --> Workwear --> and it's on the top left, product code: EVO82 ....... BUT i must stress that it's NOT Flame or Fire Proof. The company also does an embrodory service such as names, badges etc. I think i saw the Fleece for about £11 + P&P, not sure if that includes VAT though!

I've used them in the past to make me some sponsors badges for my coveralls and i can't fault them, the badges were outstanding !!

If you decide to get in touch with them, then please quote the code: 1010MAR in the subject line of your emails, then they will know that you are coming from this site.

If anyone wants a cheaper alternative to the nomex variety, have a look on the BMMC website - we stock an orange proban outer, quilted inner, bodywarmer at £30.00 plus p&p. details from our regalia man.

Nomex Fleece Jackets

After visiting the site for , www.chuckroast.com
I contacted the owner and asked if they couod do them in white nomex.
(for us in the States)
I need 25 orders for them to make a special purchase of the white nomex.

So I need 17 more.
If anyone is interested, contact me at : rkeatf1@epix.net

If, when, we make the needed 25 orders, all interested parties will be contacted.
At that time we will discuss any options we want to add, and final price.
Basic cost is approx. $145.00 US.

Check out the web page and let me know.
