I hope this helps.

This should be posted on th BBC website, much easier to understand than their current summary!

If i'm correct we have two Howmet's here, both XM property and prepared by Sébastien Crubilé, a classic Porsche specialist. About one, I'm sure Sébastien said the turbine comes from an helicopter, they had to shake a young retired to fix some troubles like idling for instance. Sébastien reports the chassis is very good even if the lack of engine braking is a handicap.

Strange because I think we already talked about that here…
Normal because, born in the 60's, I'm already an old nincompoops!

Booooooob? Un suppositoire et au lit, mec!

But if you can still remember the names of the staff at Specsavers it's not quite all bad news!

Yes it does seem a little grim at the moment, seems to me that anything apart from historics is going downhill.

It's Beaujolais Nouveau time - does the annual race back to England with the first bottles still happen?

If so, it's rather foggy in this part of the world this morning, so they might be late!

Brexit Update - someone we've heard of has resigned in outrage at the document that we all thought he was responsible for. Which is a touch surprising.

Someone we haven't heard of and don't really care about resigned overnight. Which isn't really surprising.

But nothing will change until December 2020 so the major players will be long gone.

Thanks Max, Keep us posted. That all makes sense.Mrs May lives just across the road from me. I might pop round Sunday for a cuppa and a natter. Our previous dog went for a wander a few years ago he was found in her garden. She called me up and I took her a bottle of wine as a thank you.

I can't answer this question, John, but I can tell you that some years ago I was right of the middle of this kind of night "go fast" on the highway. The best I found to play with was a guy driving flat out a modified Saab 900 turbo S. His cockpit showed only the driver seat, all the rest was for wine. Yes, happy day!

That could earn you a recommendation for a knighthood but then again I think the lady is going down with a sinking ship.

Either she'll be unemployed by the weekend (in which case she'll be free for a cuppa) or you might be her new Brexit Secretary!

We have discussed the Howmet before, and no doubt will again! Fascinating car. When it’s in the paddock or pit lane it is always surrounded by curious enthusiasts and members of other teams! Me included.......

The two original TXs had prototype helicopter engines made by Continental, but after the cars stopped racing the engines were taken back. I think one now has a correct engine fitted again. But there are now 3 cars, another one having been being built up from an original spare chassis. That and the other original are now fitted with Allison turbines. Xavier has owned both at one time or another.....

Sure Mike, if I'm right and from his preparer's words he sold the first one he got but regretted it few days after. Hence a second buy! They are no doubt enthusiast people.
I just was wondering about me rambling… The age certainly.

Delta, your dog has really good taste for his relationship, I'm jealous. I now dream my two beloved mutts wandering in the Elysée gardens, trying to bite the purebred mongrel of the actual renter. Nice thought!

You mean Brigitte? No, the mongrel making pee everywhere inside the Elysée looks more like a Labrador or Golden Retriever… The other one making p... everyone looks like a politician… Note that in this case we dont say purebred mongrel but more likely b&&&&rd of d&&n politician!

Wilmazz if one day you're suggested to refurbish a T5/4 speed gearbox, just refuse or bring some friends with. Remove the bell could help in transportation though… You'll learn on the hard and heavy way what iron means then…

Best drop her a bottle of English red round, sound likes she needs it.

Anyway, no need to worry about the status of National A licences in Europe soon, most here won't be able to afford to race over the channel at the rate the £ is dropping. We'll need our passports for Knockhill and Nutts Corner soon so you can get your fill of racing abroad while still spending the good old £.

I'm currently enjoying my salary in Euros. And month on month there's very little change in the exchange rate since June 2016 so I'm getting somewhat fed up with the doom mongers using it as an excuse not to do something.
