They embarrass enough 911s as it is........

I thought of searching for a pic of a hooky Morgan +4 to add, but then remembered there’s a couple race in 60s already.

I really like that Pontiac. I'd be happy with that squirreled away Attaq Towers.

I've got a day off today so I'm browsing Tenths while waiting for the Ferret and Trouser Leg to open. It seems ages away yet, some fool put the clock back last night. There's some Japanese ball game on TV, not something I'm that interested in TBH. I suppose it'll be the main source of conversation when I do manage to have a half of old'n'filthy.

Apart from the Grandsport which has already been mentioned probably not . Corvettes are normally in the same class but dont have the overall performance vs the E Types, TVR's and Cobras.

I dont remember the Grand Sport to be homologated on a regular basis. Our C2 was a vey well balanced car, user friendly if you remain humble and a E Type was not a problem for it. If only the brakes…

Yes, we’ve already discussed the replica Grand Sport, Gerard....

Normal version, the early cars were on drums, and later ones on discs- but from my understanding they are not up to the standard of other cars in the same class?

Anyway, think Dr Bob has enough info now to make up his own mind!

I have ditched the idea of a Pontiac GTO. It’s drum brakes all around isn’t it.
All suggestions welcome
Looking more and more like a TVR
I shall keep looking

Nigel Reuben knows a thing or two about TVR Griffiths and I imagine knows a couple that could be available.

Could contact him maybe .

Just trying to help.

The (lovely) white TVR and the blue one in the clip are 200s, not the later 400, which has several performance improvements. (And an ugly body....) Apart from at Goodwood, where doesn't look like the 400 is accepted, I don't think you'll see 200s being competitive in Masters, PA etc......

As Will says, Nigel Reuben has the knowledge....

Having drive a Grantura with the same wheelbase and much less power, I would suggest that the Griff is a bit of a handful…..
