FIM Winners Game --> Italy

Fourth round of this game. Rules are:

----------------------------------------------

Object of the game:
You have to guess the winner. You can put one, two, three or four riders as winners.

Scoring:
If you put one rider and he wins, you get 4 points.
If you put two two riders and one of them wins, you get 3 points.
In case you put 3 names and one wins, you get 2.5 points.
If you choose to put four names, and one of them wins, you get 2 points.
If you fail to guess the winner, you get 0 points.

Time limit:
Guesses can be done until one hour before the first race (125, 250 or MotoGP). Usually it will be one hour before 125 race.

Remarks:
Every FIM GP three guesses can be entered: for 125cc, 250cc and MotoGP. Those are three differents games, so you can enter only one or two categories if you like.

Appart from the three classifications (125, 250 and MotoGP), I'll put a "global" classification adding all of them.

The key of the game is to predict the winner putting the least possible numbers of candidates. But if you put too few riders, you risk getting 0 points!

Example:

Let's suppose in Jerez you had put these guesses:
125 = Simoncelli, P.Nieto, Lai (you get 2.5 points for Simoncelli)
250 = Porto, Dovizioso (you get 0 point, you failed)
MotoGP = Gibernau, Rossi (you get 3 points for Rossi)

We will do a final classification in the middle of the season. after that, we will evaluate how the game has gone, and in case it is OK, we will do another classification for the second part of the season.

I have looked this season's schedule and I think the best end of the first "cup" (Summer Cup ) is to finish it after Germany (Jul 31). After that there is a cut in FIM GPs in August and we would begin the "Autumn Cup" in Brno (Ago 28).

There would be 9 races in the first part and 7 in the second part. It is uneven but it is not possible to make them equal (8 and 8) because British and German GPs are just one week apart.

So, there are still plenty of GPs to fight for the first Cup

Ahhh It looks unfortunatly like the rumours about a 3rd Kawasaki for Jacque are incorrect looking at the entery list, but David Checa is in for Rolfo.

I'll post my thoughts after qualifying

250s: Stoner, Dovisioso, Pedrosa
990s: Capperix, Rossi, Sete, Edwards.

Kallio winning would have given me a clean sweep... At least he is not dead though.

It's very sad but DavidStHub's guess came late (10:37 local Italy time, first race was 11:00 and thus time limit was 10:00)

The same, but even later for Hazza's (13:11 local time, 125 and 250 races had started)

So, I cannot possibly to add them to the championship... sorry!!

But, just as a little compensation, I'll take in count David's and Hazza's MotoGP's guesses in this round table (not in the championship).

We have a new leader after a very good round by Bleu He has won this GP and he has jumped to 1st in the championship.

Four players are getting regularly good points and they are, accordingly, in the four first positions in the Total category.

Dani F is the best in the ever important MotoGP category, and Bleu duly leads in 125cc and 250cc.

In contrast, horrendous round for gomick and Wingman, but they are risky players and I'm sure they assume this kind of possibility

Unbelievable! Can't you just let me off this once as I did guess before ANY race started...

The more people the better in the championship right? I've missed so many rounds anyway. CMonnn! As if Kallio falling off at the last corner and ruining my clean sweep was not enough. It just gets worse

YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!!
