I'll be racing – I don't know exactly what the light will be like but I think it could be awesome to race in it and fantastic to watch. We might get some spectators to Blyton for this, which would be great.

does anyone have any details on how it will all be lit?

Thanks for the answer, though. Was thinking they might try to attract a few million glowworms and trap them in cages to light the way, but perhaps that's a bit impractical.

Hope the lighting is a little better that what the London Masters 'night' race was! Coming from light to dark, in the rain, couldnt see a thing! made it interesting coming into the corners though!

Shame i will have to watch this one from a bar in Zante though!!

I'll be racing too! Looking forward to it, especially after the last Blyton round!! I think racing under the lights will add something unique to the normal atmosphere.

Does anyone know if the paddock will also be floodlit, or just the circuit? Could make it interesting trying to fix cars in the dark!!!

The track is in great condition, so racing will be as quick as ever!

Looks like a late night Mark and early morning for you then!

Live coverage is definately 9pm-12pm, and having spoke to Pat recently he expected the Super Final to be around 11.45/11.50pm just before live coverage ends.

This will then be followed by BTRDA finals unelss they can fit in before live tv ends!

Guess u'll be missing the after event party then!!

Glad to hear you are thinking of racing - think your new colour scheme will look great under floodlights.

such a shame i'll miss this... but some of us have to go to South Africa to watch the World Cup. Damn (so long as BA don't strke and that bloody volcano stops erupting).

In all seriousness, this should be a cracking event. Look forward to seeing it on TV when I get back.

Looking to marshal this event
Asked question in the marshals forum as to start time but no response.
Anyone know what time the first session is and I'll be there at least 1 1/2 hours before should be ok?

Looks like the event will start at around 4pm with practice and heats 1 & 2. Then a break. Another practice under lights with heat 3 & finals 'Live' on TV from 9pm.

Thought I'd just be watching at this round, but it looks like we might have got the car sorted, fingers crossed. There are now quite a few old-but-not-quite-so-old-as-the-older parts on the little beauty!

Who else is coming out to play out on track, in the orange boiler suits or in the grandstands?

(Yes, I know there aren't any grandstands at Blyton – it's a figure of speech!)

Hoping to make it, the way things are going this could be my local round this year! Having a new baby in the house is proving restrictive, but I'm working on it!

That is very much a draft timetable, and is subject to CHANGES

But take the start time as 13.30 for practice

Might make my way from my armchair to this!

Not so sure its a good idea to run so late though. Sound travels far and wide at night theres Plenty of locals that could easily be offended! Surely it would of made more sence to run till no later than 10pm?
