inpitlane should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
The full interview with Eugene Arocca is now on the In Pit Lane YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/inpitlane
As they say the proof of the pudding is in the eating, but in our off camera chat he seemed to be very aware of the challenge ahead and he was genuinely keen to try and address the needs of rank and file members.
The problem as I see it is that often the needs and issues of the rank and file members are at odds with the requirements of the top level of the sport.
I doubt that CAMS or any other sensible organisation are ever going to jeopardise the elite level of the sport to cater for the bottom ranks.
Having said that the AFL and the Clubs do take a responsibility for the game's overall development so perhaps Mr Arocca will put pressure on the top level to at least show some level of support for the grass roots.

AFL isn't the same model though IPL - the whole game, including the elite, run by the same organisation in their case. The ARL & FFA are more like the CAMS / elite structure as a comparison.

Agree with the point though, there is a mighty big challenge in keeping everyone happy - not least of which is the huge number of committees that CAMS has and getting clear, consistent messages from those committees about what the grass roots level actually needs.

He's not going to be wondering where his next task is coming from is he?

Affordable til this happens.

This was Sandown at the weekend for the Shannons Nationals so what happened to the Red one will be on Speedweek this Sunday in theory, The black one was on Friday so no cameras.
