66stang should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hello from Texas!

I am in the process of building an open track 1966 Mustang coupe. I have tried to find pictures or web sites of Group 2 Mustangs here in the states and can't find much. Seems that the 65-66 Shelbys dominate the sites here.

I have noticed there seems to be several Mustang Coupes campaigned in vintage racing in England and was wondering does anyone know of any URLs that might contain more info on 65-66 coupes and even better would be photos.

I would love to build a replica of the 1965 Tour de France Mustang. Any help provided is appreciated.

Thanks/Jeff

Hi Jeff, welcome to 10 Tenths.

I don't know if it's of some help to you but there's a site about the 'Tour de France Mustang.' It's in German however but maybe you can translate the page with any of the translation pages on the Internet.
It's at http://privat.schlund.de/f/fmcog/racing/tdf_d_scg.htm

Another site is http://thecarsource.com/shelby/group2.html

Gerard,

Thanks for the quick response. The Tour de France website provided was great and thankfully I even found the english version on the same web site (several little German communities around Texas, but mostly the second language is Spanish.)

If anyone else has any more websites, please let me know.

Thanks again Gerard and if I can run anything down for you in the States let me know.

Jeff
