At Oulton Park it's not a good i dea to be in the midle of a pack of cars coming through Fosters, the cars behind just ram you, same with Russell at Snetterton, the AI cars ram you out of the way.

I've had some great races on TOCA 2 for my computer. Over the summer, I outfitted myself with the latest high-tech steering wheel, and I had a ton of fun with the wheel, as it enhanced my gaming about 100 times. I've gone to Donington in the Peugeot 406, set it up with about 75% downforce, and it's been great, incredibly realistic, as I take corners at the real speeds the BTCC guys do it in. It's pretty exciting too because I really have to push the car to keep up with the top guys, wheras when I normally set it up, I take all the downforce off and it's a breeze (even on hard mode).

I like it when you sometimes get a car to flip over the barriers, it then spends the whole race trying to get back on the track.

My friend and I used to have some cracking races on 2-player mode - seeing who could hit the cones furthest at Oulton Park was always a laugh.

Any race round the Oulton Shell Circuit is hectic. That hairpin is a challenge.

Yes, I agree. No matter what you do, it's always a big traffic jam at the hairpin.

I've been tempted to buy it for quite a while - sounds as thought I ought to! (Specially as it can be had for relative peanuts at the moment!).

In my desperation for a TOCA fix I picked up a second-hand TOCA 1 for £5.99 - and I can't believe how easy the championship is! I won the first round at Donington by 38 seconds (it was only a 6 lap race!?!) from Menu, and the second by 11, because I kept spinning at the Old Hairpin. Come on TOCA 2 !!!!!!!!!

TOCA 1 is actually good fun I reckon...because it works so well on todays PC's, you just pop the CD, load it up and off you go - I like it.

Yes, it's very easy, unless you're the Ford Mondeo or the Peugeot 406. I can't even reach 6th gear down Starkeys straight! I like how the car's wheels sometimes leave the ground when going through a fast corner, like down the craner curves or the old hairpin.

AAAARGH! I got an email saying that TOCA2 is out of stock!!! BOOHOO!!! Never mind, I'll work my way through the championship on TOCA1 to open the new tracks, which of course I can race on harder difficulty settings.

I have a code that you can use to get all of the tracks. Do you want it?

When you get TOCA2 MF, you can have real life championships! They are full length, ie 40 laps, and you don't get the sack if you don't win every single round! Just enter LONGLONG at name screen.

Sorry if I'm making the wait worse for you!

So that's how you can do a championship without having to score 15 points to move on!!! In my championship, I'm driving a peugeot 406 as Paul Radisich (Obviously) and I'm in 3rd place with 11 points back on David Leslie. I'm at Croft (The toughest track on that game because 1, in the championship mode, it rains for both races, and 2, its just tough to keep up with everyone). I'm getting a little tired of having to manhandle the Peugeot around the track! I'll try that code!

Yeh but remember the races are the same length as they are at real BTCC events, 30 laps round Thruxton gets boring.

You did pick the best car for challenging for the championship, didn't you!? I've found there are a few improvements needed on the Peugeot, just take it to the Test Track.

Uh oh, 30 laps around Thruxton!!

Indeed I have, but I've tweaked the setup and made it as competitive as the Nissans in race form. I'm terrible in qualifying, and I usually have to come back up through the field in the race.
